Triggers and auto replies for Twitch chat

A trigger is the bot reacting to an event: a raid, a new sub, a first-time chatter or a FACEIT match found. An auto reply answers a phrase in chat, so you stop typing the same answers by hand.

Event reactions

The bot thanks raiders and subscribers, greets first-time chatters, marks viewer milestones, records and reached goals, joins message streaks and reacts to stream shop purchases. At stream start it can post and pin a message. FACEIT events cover a match found, its result and a level up.

Auto replies for common questions

Add a phrase and its synonyms; any of them triggers the same reply. Phrases match whole words and are case-insensitive by default. Command variables such as $user work in replies. Limit how often it fires: once per stream, once per hour per viewer or once per stream per viewer.

Frequently asked questions

How is a trigger different from a command?

A viewer calls a command with “!”. A trigger fires on a channel event, and an auto reply fires on a regular chat phrase.

Can I greet new chatters?

Yes, the First message event replies to a viewer who chats in your channel for the first time.

Which events need Premium?

Tracked viewer arrival and FACEIT match result. All other events are available on every plan.

Where can I see what fired?

The triggers section keeps a history of event triggers: what the bot sent, what it skipped and what failed.
