How to add an overlay to OBS
Sign in with Twitch, open Overlays in your dashboard and create a widget. Select its style, copy its URL and add a Browser source in OBS. Use the dimensions shown in the widget settings, position it on your scene and run a test event.
Widgets and stream graphics
Widgets display changing data such as chat, donations, music and stats. Stream packs, transitions and alert media are available in Looks. You can combine both on the same scene.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an OBS plugin?
Widgets use the built-in Browser source. Create an overlay in the dashboard and paste its URL into that source.
Are there free overlays?
Available types, styles and limits depend on your plan. Free includes basic features; check the dashboard and pricing page for a specific style.
Does this catalog include every feature?
It groups widgets for OBS scenes. Bot commands, analytics, the stream shop and guides have their own pages.
