Major Update to RobinSystem 13.09

We continue to build RobinSystem as a cohesive system centered around the stream, rather than as a collection of disparate widgets. This update includes a lot of new features—from bug reports to a chat that finally behaves like a real one.

Let’s start with the one thing without which everything else quickly falls apart.

01RBIN Live

People would find a bug. They’d send a private message. The message would get lost in a Telegram chat with hundreds of people. A week later, no one remembered who had promised what.

Now there’s RBIN Live—a dedicated platform where you can submit a request, check its status, and see it through to a fix. No need to search for a developer in direct messages.

03Donations

A “Donations” page has been added—a consolidated history of donations from multiple services at once: DonationAlerts, DonatePay, DonateX. We’ll be expanding this list.

For OBS, there’s a widget showing recent donations: It’s installed via a secret link and doesn’t take up an overlay slot in your plan.

DonationAlerts and DonatePay will load automatically after the server restarts—no need to log in and “click to reload.”

04Deadlock, Steam, and FACEIT

For Deadlock—a rank overlay with its own skins. You can link it to Steam and open a separate settings page without having to dig through the general widget list.

FACEIT has received two new styles—Drum and Halo. The old widgets have also been revamped: customization is now more intuitive, rather than “ten more hidden toggles.”

05A Chat That Doesn’t Lie

You can build the chat overlay using your own CSS and HTML. The editor features code highlighting. The default theme is Ultra.

A message disappears from the overlay on its own if a moderator deletes it, a viewer is banned, or the chat is cleared. It doesn’t linger on the screen “like it was five minutes ago.”

And yes: GIFs from Twitch chat now live in the overlays.

06Giveaways

We’ve completely rewritten the giveaway creation process from scratch: a step-by-step wizard, pre-made scenarios, and the ability to save your own.

Activity is taken into account when selecting a winner—the system checks who actually participated, not just who joined the chat.

07Bot and Commands

One-click import from Nightbot: commands, timers, and auto-replies.

New trigger “Tracked Viewer on Stream”—once per stream, the bot posts in chat or does a shoutout when the specified username appears. Premium and Ultra.

08Levels and Chat Archive

Levels now feature an experience formula editor: growth graph, presets, and sliders. You can see where the leveling will lead before viewers start complaining.

09Dashboard

The profile menu lets you switch accounts and manage delegated access. On the main page, you’ll find the bot’s status, Telegram, a summary of the latest live stream, top viewers, and a list of those who are currently in the chat.

Also:

• You can adjust the sidebar width;
• If you leave the page with unsaved changes, the system will warn you;
• An integrations settings page has been added;
• If some files didn’t load after an update, the page will attempt to restore itself.

10Telegram and the Website

You can only post in the community’s Telegram chat after linking your Twitch account. For everyone else, the bot will send instructions via direct message—no manual moderation required upon joining.

On the main page, you’ll find live demos: chat, donation alerts, fundraising goals, Spotify, TTS, “Guess the Word,” and the Deadlock rank. Next to that is a gallery of overlays and an overview of modules.

11What We Fixed

TTS

After selecting the Fish Audio voice, ElevenLabs would sometimes continue to play. We fixed this and cleared any stuck settings.

Donations

After a server restart, donations might not appear in the history or alerts for users without the “Fundraising Goal” overlay. Fixed.

Twitch

We rebuilt EventSub and revamped how we handle API limits. The connection is more stable now.

12Under the Hood

On the outside—new buttons. On the inside—migrations, queues, Redis, and tests. We’ll leave the details to the team for now, but it would be silly to hide the scope of the work.
