01Major RobinSystem Update
September 24, 2026
This update turned out to be quite substantial. We’ve added several new features, significantly revamped existing ones, and, of course, managed to fix quite a few issues that decided to pop up at the worst possible moment.
The highlights of this update are the new design, the new blog, the Twitch Extension V2, support for videos in overlays, and further development of RBIN Live.
02🎨 Design
We’ve launched a new section called “Design” section in the RobinSystem dashboard.
Now, right within the platform, you can find and purchase ready-made stream assets:
- Transitions
- Banners
- Loading screens
- Frames
- Alerts
- Design packs
- OBS Resources
Purchases are made using your RobinSystem balance, and all purchased assets appear in your personal library.
Больше не нужно хранить ссылки на купленные материалы в заметках. После покупки они остаются в вашей библиотеке и доступны для скачивания.
Preview
A full-featured preview for design assets is now available right in your account.
You can view the item before purchasing, and for supported formats, you can preview it with sound and adjust the volume.
Community Marketplace
We’ve also decided to launch a platform for creators themselves.
If you create stream skins on your own, you can now list your work for sale within RobinSystem.
The process works as follows:
Создание работы
↓
Черновик
↓
Отправка на модерацию
↓
Публикация
↓
ПродажаIf necessary, the author can remove their work from publication.
Licenses
Two licenses are available for themes:
| License | Usage | Editing | Source Code |
|---|---|---|---|
| Usage | ✓ | — | — |
| Editing | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
The second license allows you to obtain the source code and customize the design yourself.
03📰 RobinSystem Blog
RobinSystem now has its own blog.
Here, we’ll publish updates, instructions, feature breakdowns, and other content about the project.
The blog already features:
- Articles and categories
- Post covers
- Automatic table of contents
- Related content
- RSS feed
- Social media images
- Article markup for search engines
- View counter
Блог нужен не только для новостей. Мы хотим постепенно собрать здесь нормальную базу знаний о RobinSystem и стриминге.
04🧩 Twitch Extension V2
The Twitch Extension has been updated to version 2.
In addition to the existing Classic and Compact themes, a new theme—Modern—has been added.
You can select a theme directly in the extension settings.
If the new version doesn’t suit you for any reason, you can switch back to V1 with a single click.
Also new:
- rating tabs;
- viewer cards with permitted metrics;
- full keyboard support.
05🎬 Overlays
Overlays now support loading WebM videos as backgrounds.
Transparent videos are also supported.
Limits depend on your plan:
| Plan | Maximum size |
|---|---|
| Free | 5 MB |
| Premium | 10 MB |
| Ultra | 20 MB |
After uploading, you can preview the media, view its dimensions, and check its duration.
FACEIT and Deadlock
Another small but important change concerns the preview.
Now FACEIT and Deadlock display real user data instead of that of a demo player.
This means you’ll see exactly how the overlay will look with your own data.
06🤝 Referral Program
The referral system has become more flexible.
New rules regarding the number of followers have been introduced, along with specific rules for individual affiliate links.
In the event of conflicting rules, priority is applied from top to bottom.
07🌐 Website Update
New pages have been added to the website:
- Design;
- Alerts for OBS;
- Transitions for OBS;
- Overlay packs for Twitch.
Separate pages have also been added for the FACEIT overlay and Deadlock overlay.
On these pages, you can view a gallery of styles and a carousel of matches.
Loading Errors
If a page fails to load, users will no longer see just a blank white screen.
Instead, a clear error message appears, along with information on what to do next.
It’s a small detail, but one that becomes very noticeable when it’s missing.
08📊 Analytics
We’ve slightly revised our approach to recommendations.
Now, recommendations only appear when RobinSystem has enough data to analyze.
The minimum requirement:
3 completed live streams lasting at least 10 minutes with the necessary metrics.
This helps prevent the system from drawing serious conclusions based on just a few random data points.
Charts
You can now select one metric at a time on the chart.
Chat activity has also been separated from video viewing so that these metrics aren’t mixed together.
Training is now opened manually.
And if there isn’t enough data for the selected period, instead of providing questionable recommendations, the system calmly explains why the analysis isn’t available yet.
Меньше советов ради советов. Больше рекомендаций, которые действительно основаны на данных.
09🟣 RBIN Live
RBIN Live continues to evolve after its launch.
We’ve added dedicated status pages for various errors:
400 · 403 · 404 · 429 · 500 · 502 · 503 · 504
Notifications
A notification bell has been added to RBIN Live.
You can receive notifications about:
- changes to a bug’s status;
- the closure of a ticket;
- requests for additional information.
Notifications are also sent to Telegram.
Discussions
A separate discussion thread has been added within bug reports.
Now, the developer and the report submitter can discuss the issue directly within the report itself, without having to move the entire discussion to private messages.
Нашли проблему → создали заявку → следите за статусом → получили исправление.
10🔧 What We Fixed
We also fixed quite a few issues.
💬 Twitch Chat
Messages no longer get lost due to identical text.
Previously, deduplication was based on message content. Now, the Twitch message ID is used.
This means that two identical messages with different IDs are considered separate messages.
We’ve also improved the processing of incoming messages when the server restarts and added protection against duplicate messages.
💸 Donations
After the API restart, donations could be subject to a half-hour delay.
We’ve fixed the logic for determining process busyness, so another process running is no longer considered a connection error.
🔌 EventSub
EventSub subscriptions for disabled channels are now automatically removed by a background task.
Previously, chat messages from such channels could continue to arrive for months.
That no longer happens.
🤖 Bot Handoff
Fixed bot handoff between processes.
A channel lock is released only after the channel is actually disconnected, so race conditions should no longer occur when the server is stopped.
📺 Live Stream Segments
Changing a stream’s category or name no longer creates a duplicate segment if the same event arrives simultaneously from the API and from a bot.
🧭 Conduit
Conduit checks are now cached for 30 seconds.
Channel synchronization has also been sped up:
- Before: 10 channels in 5 minutes.
- Now: up to 25 channels per minute.
📊 Analytics
We removed several incorrect metrics:
- false “100% silent users” based on empty data;
- incorrect return rate;
- recommendations based on an incorrect dataset.
💳 Balance
Fixed the calculation for balance top-ups during purchases when there wasn’t enough funds to cover the full amount.
11🗑️ What We Removed
Some older components have also been retired.
Demo Data Removed
The following data has been removed from the FACEIT preview:
PreviewPlayer
2100 ELODeadlock demo data has also been removed.
Analytics
The following have been removed:
- the second locally generated set of tips;
- the Premium ad card in the overview;
- tips about “silent players”;
- the rule for new viewers, which used an incorrect database.
12⚙️ Under the Hood
And, as usual, most of the work went unnoticed by users.
In this update:
Database
11 migrations added support for:
- the design catalog;
- the marketplace;
- the blog and media;
- views;
- the incoming chat queue;
- referral bonuses;
- Twitch Extension themes;
- new analytics indices.
13🚀 What’s Next
This update introduced several new features to RobinSystem.
Design has become a separate section with purchases and a marketplace.
Blog is now a standalone part of the site.
Twitch Extension has been updated to version 2.
RBIN Live continues to evolve as a separate feedback system.
And within RobinSystem, there’s now even less manual work, fewer duplicates, fewer lost messages, and other little joys of development.
Мы не просто добавляем функции. Мы постепенно собираем систему, которой действительно удобно пользоваться каждый день.
If you notice a problem after the update, please report it via RBIN Live.
If you’d like to check out the new design or submit your own work, take a look at the “Design” section”.
Thank you for continuing to use RobinSystem and helping us improve it. 💜
